Aeroplane Hijack
A man hijacks an aeroplane transporting both passengers(8 of them) and
valuable cargo. After taking the cargo, the man demands nine parachutes,
puts one of them on, and jumps, leaving the other eight behind. Why did
he want eight?
Challenging
Outside a room there are three light switches. One of switch is connected to a light bulb inside the room.
Each of the three switches can be either 'ON' or 'OFF'.
You are allowed to set each switch the way you want it and then enter the room(note: you can enter the room only once)
Your task is to then determine which switch controls the bulb ??
Tricky Logical Mind Bender
A man was gazing through the window of the 33rd floor of the building.
He suddenly opened the window and jumped on the other side of the
window. On landing the floor, there was not a sheer mark of injury on
him.
How can that be possible if he did not use any kind of parachute and did not land on a soft surface ?
Solution
1.Aeroplane Hijack
If the officials thought he was jumping with a hostage, they would never risk giving him a faulty parachute.
2.Challenging
Set the first switches on for abt 10min, and then switch on the second switch and then enter the room.
Three cases are possible
1.Bulb is on => second switch is the ans
2.Bulb is off and on touching bulb , you will find bulb to be warm
=>1st switch is the ans.
3.Bulb is off and on touching second bulb , you will find bulb to be normal(not warm)
=>3rd bulb is the ans.
3.Tricky Logical Mind Bender
The man falls within the house or the room i.e the other side of window not outside the building on the road or hard ground.
